STEP 7: Choose Your Cord

Make your final selection to add the right accent to your sword.  Cords are used to keep attach the scabbard to the swordsman's waist/belt, as well as an ornament to add a beautiful accent to the sword.  The cord (in Japanese "Sageo") can be affixed in many different bow patterns for functionality and presentation.  All cords will be tied in the traditional bow shape but you can always change to your preference.
